POSITION DUTIES  Provide best practice prosthetic and orthotic care, with a focus on acute patient management  Complete all manufacturing and technical work associated with the provision of prosthetic and orthotic devices  Support speciality clinics as required, including orthopaedic fracture Clinic  Liaise closely with members of the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes including timely discharge planning  Attend ward rounds and clinic meetings to triage referrals and manage patient flow  Educate and support subacute patients, to enable transition to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)  Assist with the interim prosthetic rehabilitation program  Contribute to department education and training program 6.
