Performs routine and complex survey calculations and control adjustments. Performs, assigns, or assists with records research. Performs, assigns, or assists with CADD drafting assignments. Analyzes boundary evidence and parcel/ROW records to determine property boundaries and Rights of Way. Determines and documents property boundaries, easements, and land ownership details to ensure compliance with legal regulations. Creates detailed topographic maps and surveys to provide essential data for project planning and design. Maintains positive client relationships, understanding project requirements, and facilitating all deliverables to ensure an outstanding customer experience using Clientship Philosophy. Provides QA/QC on survey work completed for all sectors. Act as a mentor to those less experienced members of the project team. Requirements Education & Experience Associate or Bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or a related field. Experience in surveying software and equipment, including AutoCAD, GPS, total stations, and data collectors. Previous experience in land surveying Professional Survey License required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of Land Surveying, including boundary determinations, control adjustments, topographic surveying/mapping, NYSDOT Standards and Procedures, and ALTA requirements.
