You will hold detailed knowledge of the Care Act (2014), Mental Capacity Act (2005), Equality legislation and the Deprivation of Liberty safeguards, and will implement this in your daily practice. You will also be expected to carry out the Local Authorities safeguarding duties to protect and mitigate risks to the individuals we serve.  We have excellent relationships with local partners and hospital trusts, and you will have the opportunity to work alongside other professionals to ensure good outcomes for the individual’s you are working with.
