This temporary, casual role is essential in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need, ensuring their well-being and enhancing their quality of life. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in our medical and nursing services, contributing to a compassionate and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individual care plans.
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behaviour to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a support or care role, preferably in a medical or nursing environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Empathy and compassion, with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Relevant certifications in first aid and CPR are advantageous.
