The Great Southern Hotel Brisbane is a 4 Star hotel located in the heart of Brisbane CBD. We are currently seeking a well presented individual with a solid background in reservations to join our Front Office team in the casual position of Guest Service Agent.
As our Casual Guest Services Agent, you will be responsible for the smooth check-in and check-out of guests, attending to a variety of guest requests and supporting Front Desk operations. We are looking for someone to work on a rotating roster, including weekend shifts, nights and public holidays, as per business requirements.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to outstanding customer service
  • Previous experience in Reservations and room management highly advantageous.
  • The availability to work on a rotating roster
  • Excellent grooming and presentation skills
  • A warm and friendly personality
  • Confidence to problem solve without supervision
  • Excellent time management skills
  • The ability to work under pressure with excellent attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a similar role and experience with Opera PMS is essential to be successful
  • Current First Aid Certificate and RSA required

Rate of pay is as per the Federal Award.
