Reporting to the Front of House Manager, the Bartender is responsible for several functions including, but not limited to, providing exceptional customer service to all guests in a prompt and friendly manner, following all laws and regulations regarding liquor service, stocking the bar and cooler, setting up and taking down the bar completely, and preparing all the bar syrups, and garnishes. WHAT YOU HAVE     * * 2+ years’ serving or bartending experience in a high-volume environment required.  *  Strong English communication skills and outgoing personality with ability to establish and develop relationships with both guests and team members. *  Basic math skills, can handle money, and operate a point-of-sale system. *  A valid Alberta ProServe Certification obtained prior to starting. *  Ability to maintain professionalism, control, and composure in difficult and stressful situations. *  Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time. *  Capacity to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food or beverages frequently weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds. *  Over 18 years of age as alcohol service and late-night availability is a requirement.
