The role is a key member of the hotel’s Executive Committee and collaborates with department leaders to maintain a positive and productive workplace culture in alignment with the hotel’s service standards and brand values. An ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience with Hyatt brand. ________________________________________ Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with overall business goals. Manage the full associate life cycle: recruitment, onboarding, engagement, performance, development, and separation. Serve as a trusted advisor to department heads and associates on HR-related matters. Champion a positive workplace culture that promotes diversity, inclusion, and high associate engagement. Lead and manage compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEOC, wage & hour). Oversee payroll processing and benefits administration in coordination with accounting/payroll teams. Handle associate relations issues professionally and confidentially, conducting thorough investigations when needed. Develop and manage HR budgets, forecasts, and reports. Ensure all associate records, handbooks, job descriptions, and HR systems are current and compliant. Coordinate hotel orientation and ongoing training programs to support associate development and service excellence. Lead performance review cycles, succession planning, and talent development initiatives. Represent HR in safety committee meetings, audits, brand inspections, and legal proceedings, as required.
