ABOUT THE ROLE: Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of the Human Resources Assistant: Assume responsibility for all post offer / pre- employment checks (criminal background, abuse and licensure checks, drug testing, physical are requested and completed post hire and documented in the employee’s personnel file. Provide all eligible new hires benefits packets and ensure receipt documentation is placed in file. Enter new hires and status changes in HRIS system. Conduct New Hire Orientation(s) with the community leadership team and with new hires. Track new hire and annual training requirements. Tracks employee renewals for specific certifications/licenses. Tracks 90-day evaluations and departmental on-boarding checklist. Serve on the safety and culture committee. Assist with planning and preparation of employee engagement functions at the Community. Serve as back up for payroll processing. Serve as back up to front desk.
