Position: Store Supervisor PART TIME
Location: South Clapham, LONDON
Salary: £15 per hour + Bonus
Contract: PERMANENT 20 hours per week
MUST HAVE: RETAIL / HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE + PASSION FOR COFFEE
About Us:
Café Pod is one of the UK’s most exciting coffee brands, known for bringing high-quality, sustainable coffee pods to thousands of homes. Now, we’re bringing the brand to life in a whole new way — with its first-ever bricks-and-mortar retail store.
This store is the first of many – an opportunity to shape what Café Pod looks and feels like in person. It’s not just about coffee; it’s about building a local community, sparking conversations, and delivering an experience that goes beyond the cup.
About You
We’re searching for a Supervisor who lives and breathes great customer service and is passionate about sharing that energy with others. You’ll help set the tone on the shop floor — leading by example, supporting the team day-to-day, and ensuring that every customer interaction is meaningful.
The Role
As a Supervisor, you’ll be at the heart of the daily action — leading from the front, coaching the team, and making sure every customer leaves with an outstanding experience.
Application Process
Our recruitment process for the Supervisor role is designed to be clear, engaging, and give us both a good sense of fit:
1. Screening Call – If you’re shortlisted, we’ll start with a brief phone call to get to know you, understand your background, and share a bit more about the role.
2. Virtual Teams Interview – Next, you’ll join us for a video interview via Microsoft Teams. This is where we’ll chat about your service ethos, training experience, and day-to-day supervisory skills.
3. Coffee Interview – The final stage is an in-person coffee meeting designed to be a thoughtful, conversational deep dive. We’ll discuss how you lead by example, support team development, and help create a memorable store environment.
