GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Manages the day-to-day administration of the retail branches, ensuring that Farmers Advantage Customer Service is provided to all customers, external and internal, that deposit and sales growth goals are met, and that operations within the area managed are compliant with all banking laws and regulations.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc.
EXPERIENCE GENERAL
8 years related experience and/or training.
EXPERIENCE MANAGEMENT
5 years related management experience.
Oversee branch administration for the Bank. Ensure that leadership is in place to provide excellent customer service and banking regulations are followed at all times. Oversee Branch Administrators, ensuring that staffing levels, compliance standards, and all other factors affecting the efficient and effective operation of all branches are in place and working well. Provide leadership, motivation, training, and coaching to ensure that retail goals are met, including that all customers are directed to products and services that best meet their needs. Ensure that retail staff participates appropriately in targeted marketing efforts. Oversee performance management process, including assisting Branch Administrators in assessing performance of their employees. Oversee scheduling, staffing, and disciplinary actions for all branch staff, consulting with Human Resources as needed. Develop and cultivate business and consumer relationships to ensure deposit and consumer loan growth within the branches. Participate in branch functions and community activities to promote the Bank’s image and build relationships in markets served. Assist in communicating and implementing changes to policies and procedures, working with Retail Operations to ensure adequate training opportunities are provided for all retail staff. Develop effective working relationship with each Market President, assisting them with business development efforts in all markets served. Work with the Product Manager to determine pricing strategies and ensure that all products are up to date and competitive. Lead the sales effort for the Bank, working with Market Presidents, to ensure that retail sales growth goals are met. Maintain and distribute Bank rate sheets on a weekly basis or as directed by Executive Management.
