QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of engineering experience building multi-tiered payment engines with high availability and throughput including 5 years of management experience.
  • Strong history of driving, leading Solutions Architecture
  • Experience in program management preferably from a applications development background
  • Experience managing global teams and driving progress by influence and ownership
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience driving cloud roadmap strategy and definition is preferable
  • Experience with public (AWS) or hybrid cloud is preferable (Kubernetes or Knative)
  • Experience with modernizing and migrating applications/clients to strategic architectures
  • Experience building hybrid cloud architectures leveraging Java, Kafka, Mongo.
  • Working knowledge of industry practices and standards
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement the technical foundation for Express Payments offerings, ensuring scalability, security, and seamless integration with partner ecosystems.
  • Define and implement the technical architecture and infrastructure strategy for the tech platform, ensuring it meets and exceeds our stringent 99.99% uptime and 5000+ TPS requirements.
  • Establish the technical vision and roadmap for global instant payments processing, optimizing for high throughput, low latency, and 24/7 availability across 63+ markets.
  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of robust payment systems across all three pillars, adhering to industry standards.
  • 12+ years of engineering experience building multi-tiered payment engines with high availability and throughput including 5 years of management experience.
