  This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact in the Northern Rivers region by supporting communities to prepare for and adapt to natural hazards under climate change.  Full time, temporary role up to August 2026 within the Northern Rivers Disaster Adaptation Team.  Lismore based role with flexible work options and hybrid arrangements available.   Clerk Grade 7/8 Salary ($113,574 - $125,720 per annum) plus superannuation and annual leave loading.      Join a team committed to building resilience and supporting adaptation to natural hazards in the Northern Rivers. Help shape evidence-based programs that prepare communities for the impacts of climate change.      About the Role  In this role, you will contribute to policy and program initiatives that strengthen resilience and adaptation strategies. Key responsibilities include:  Develop and deliver climate change adaptation programs aligned with government priorities and stakeholder needs.  Create strategies to meet stakeholder needs and promote program awareness and outcomes.  Conduct research and analysis to support proposals, project plans, and provide sound advice.  Support program governance, reporting, and risk management to ensure timely delivery.  Deliver resilience and adaptation projects, managing dependencies, risks, and opportunities effectively.  Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across government, community, and business sectors.  Prepare reports, submissions, briefing notes, and ministerial correspondence in line with protocols.     For more information about the role, please click here.
