Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Sales and Marketing will lead the strategic direction, planning, and execution of all sales and marketing initiatives for a regional Health Maintenance Organization (HMO). This executive role is responsible for driving sustainable membership growth, brand development, market penetration and expansion, and retention across all product lines including commercial, Medicare, and ACA Marketplace markets. The SVP will also drive meaningful community engagement. The SVP will play a key leadership role on the executive team, influencing business strategy and market expansion, as well as the company’s competitive positioning while building and nurturing partnerships that advance the health plan’s mission to improve access to high quality, affordable health care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Health Administration, or related field required. MBA or relevant graduate degree strongly preferred.
  • Experience:
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership in sales and marketing roles, preferably in the managed care or health insurance industries.
  • Strong understanding of HMO products and regulatory frameworks (Medicare, ACA).
  • Demonstrated success in developing growth strategies and executing marketing and sales plans in a competitive healthcare environment.
  • Skills:
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to build relationships with providers, brokers, regulators, and community organizations.
