Ventia is hiring Facility and Asset Manager’s to help deliver essential facilities management services across South Australia as part of the Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA). The AGFMA supports more than 5,000 government-owned sites across 48 South Australian agencies, including schools, health sites, courts, police stations and community facilities. These assets play a vital role in delivering essential services to the public every day. About the Role In this permanent full-time position, you’ll take ownership of a defined portfolio of sites, ensuring they remain safe, functional, and compliant. This role covers the Mid-North region of South Australia and sits within AGFMA’s Education portfolio. This role will require regular travel for site management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership. You’ll be responsible for managing planned and reactive maintenance, supporting the delivery of minor works projects under $150k, and working closely with subcontractors, government agencies, and internal Ventia teams to keep operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Build strong relationships with agencies, subcontractors and internal teams. Manage planned and reactive maintenance across allocated sites. Conduct site inspections, audits and close out corrective actions. Coordinate minor projects under $150k, including progress checks and documentation. Support work order management, variations and subcontractor queries. Ensure services meet AGFMA KPIs, compliance and safety requirements. Maintain accurate asset records, plans and reporting.
