Role Purpose The Personal Training Manager (PTM) is responsible for the management & leadership, recruitment & retention, and mentoring & development of all Personal Trainers within their club. Key Duties & Responsibilities The key accountabilities and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Recruit and retain Personal Trainers in line with budget and KPI’s Distribute Jumpstart and new member introductory sessions to Personal Trainers as soon as practicable to ensure a commencement rate above 60% of all sold Jumpstarts Aim for 100% attendance for new Personal Trainer inductions Ensure Personal Trainers are given sufficient in-club training, leads and mentoring to assist in their business success. Conduct and organise regular development sessions for Personal Trainers to attend Set up all contracts, including weekly direct debits for rental payments and BSP fees for all new contractors prior to commencement Achieve budgeted rental fees on a monthly basis and manage any debit suspensions and overdue rental/BSP fees in line with contract obligations Ensure all Personal Trainers adhere to relevant trainer systems, procedures and appropriate sales techniques as shown during induction Facilitate trainer growth through proactive recruitment and retention practices Develop strong relationships with RTO’s and other related industry outsourcing Ensure Personal Trainers are compliant at all times Oversee a valid certificates register as directed by the business Ensure all member enquiries are handled professionally and efficiently Ensure all Personal Trainers profiles are up to do date in-club and online Provide support and advice on club promotions and actively promote personal training sessions and fitness services to improve member retention Ensure cost effective management of any department related payroll costs (e.g. RTO lecturer costs, fitness challenge related costs, etc) Manage fitness-related programs and achieve program budget e.g. 8 & 12 week challenge, RTO/Trainer Academy/Level Up Conduct regular equipment checks and report any faults/hazards Be appropriately attired in uniform and neatly groomed This position may involve additional tasks and responsibilities beyond those mentioned above.
