ROLE OVERVIEW -

Retail Assistants support the day-to-day operations of a retail store, helping to create a positive shopping experience for customers. This role involves a combination of customer service, product knowledge, merchandising, and general store maintenance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet and assist customers; provide product info and resolve issues
• Upsell, promote offers, and meet sales goals
• Process transactions accurately using POS and handle cash/card payments
• Restock, rotate, and audit inventory; maintain tidy, appealing displays
• Follow health, safety, and loss prevention procedures
• Keep store clean and organized; support opening/closing tasks
• Work collaboratively and attend team briefings
