My client is a systematic hedge fund looking to expand its systematic equity effort. They are looking for a seasoned Fund Operations Analyst to ensure smooth execution and accuracy across post-trade and fund administration processes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related discipline
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in fund operations, preferably within asset management or hedge fund environments
• Solid background in U.S. equity trade settlement and reconciliation, with working knowledge of DTCC processes, brokerage interactions, and end-to-end post-trade workflows
• Strong grasp of financial markets and accounting principles, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and statements
• Highly organized and meticulous, with sharp analytical thinking and a hands-on approach to problem-solving
• Self-motivated and adaptable team player, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-accountability setting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and collaborative enterprise platforms, with effective communication and stakeholder management skills

• Handle investor-related transactions, including processing subscriptions and redemptions, ensuring smooth onboarding and maintaining accurate investor records
• Coordinate account openings and exchange membership applications, while managing payment schedules and keeping documentation up to date
• Facilitate trade settlements for U.S. equities by ensuring accurate position reconciliation between portfolio managers, prime brokers, and internal records
• Validate NAV statements provided by fund administrators and assist with annual fund audits and required regulatory declarations
• Build and sustain effective working relationships with external partners such as brokers, fund administrators, and service vendors, acting as a key liaison for both internal teams and third parties
