Must Have: * Thorough knowledge of principles of effective communication, mass media, advertising, and community relations as they pertain to nursing facility operations. * Ability to make direct sales calls and deliver public presentations effectively. * Ability to establish, implement, and maintain a strong marketing and public relations program. * Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement programs. * Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, and regulations that relate to long-term care. Nice to Have: * 2-4 years of experience in marketing/public relations in healthcare or a skilled nursing facility, including supervisory experience. * Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field from an accredited college. * Experience in nursing or clinical work is a plus.
