We currently have casual position available for Chef to join the Spotless team located at Perth Immigration Detention Centre, Redcliffe WA. Spotless, as a subcontractor to Secure Journeys, will be responsible for preparing and serving culturally diverse, nutritious meals contributing to the overall health and well-being of those in the centres. Spotless, as a subcontractor to Secure Journeys, will be responsible for preparing and serving culturally diverse, nutritious meals contributing to the overall health and well-being of those in the centres. What you’ll do Assemble, prepare, and produce food requirements as directed by the Catering Manager, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, stock control, and compliance with all kitchen policies. Ensure adherence to the HACCP Food Safety Plan, monitor food safety standards, and complete all Food Safety Documentation accurately and on time. Monitor and enforce food storage standards using FIFO principles, maintaining proper holding temperatures for perishable items. Uphold Spotless’ Standards of Business Conduct and contribute to a culture of safety and continuous quality improvement. What you’ll bring Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate. Knowledge of menu and nutritional standards. Strong understanding of HACCP Food Safety guidelines. Proven bulk cooking skills (Aged Care or Resources experience highly regarded). Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
