JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and oversee all culinary operations. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating innovative menus, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring an outstanding dining experience for our guests.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food service or hospitality industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment operation.
  • Strong background in restaurant management with a focus on team management and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
  • Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and minimize waste to maintain cost efficiency.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food handling, and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with management to establish kitchen policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment that adheres to health regulations.
  • Foster a positive team atmosphere that encourages collaboration and high performance among staff.
