About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 11 The Team: We are responsible for the management and improvements of the Business Applications that drive S&P Global. Responsibilities and Impact: Design and build advanced customizations using Apex (classes, triggers, batch, queueable, Platform Events), Visualforce (if applicable), and Lightning (Aura/LWC), ensuring scalability and performance. Having knowledge on Lightning components, application, events and component to component communication is an added advantage. Drive the design, development, and deployment of complex Salesforce solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices in Agile (SCRUM) methodologies and SDLC principles. Should have good knowledge on Angular JS, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS, XML, HTML and DHTML in the Salesforce platform. Extensive experience with Debugging methods such as Anonymous Code Block execution and working/writing to System and Developer Logs. Need hands on experience in deployment tools like (Copado, Prodly, and Salesforce CLI) Ability to adjust well in new atmosphere and have a great sense of responsibility in execution of any solution. Produce system design documents, lead technical walkthroughs, and present code solutions to the Salesforce Architecture Review Board. Produce high quality code, own the code quality, and represent your team’s technical output for workstream and product owners Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical partners. As a team-member, you will be responsible to continuously improve the architecture and mentor junior developers on best practices. Have the potential to work in a System Architect Associate role to speak to the solution in governance meetings, operating committees, and other stakeholder discussions. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors /Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent. 5+ Years of experience in application development using Salesforce Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., Lightning Web Components, JavaScript frameworks like Angular/jQuery) to enhance the user experience within the platform. Currently hold one, or more, of the following: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer 1, Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Salesforce Certified System Architect. Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates) S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $91,805 to $162,163. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.
