JOB DESCRIPTIONSR. SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Location: Orlando, FL (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Salary: $125,000-$145,000
Seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance applications that collect, filter, transform, and merge data from multiple real-time and historical data sources. This position plays a key role in building and supporting a high-impact, data-driven platform used across the aviation industry.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE OF THE SR. SOFTWARE ENGINEER:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong experience building production systems using C ++.
  • Additional programming expertise in Python and Java.
  • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred, Oracle or similar acceptable) .
  • Familiarity with using open-source libraries and version control tools like Git .
  • Knowledge of AWS cloud services , containerization , or Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Experience with machine learning using Python and/or aerospace applications is highly desirable.
  • Must be proactive, thorough, and a critical thinker.
