About the role Working closely with the Senior Manager, Reconciliation, you’ll play a central role in supporting the delivery of AFCA’s Innovate‑level Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). You’ll help embed reconciliation across the organisation, not as a document on a shelf, but as real, measurable actions that strengthen outcomes for First Nations peoples. This is a role for someone who is organised, proactive, and values‑driven, and who wants to be part of long‑term, systemic change. This is initially a 12 month fixed term contract. Typically in this role, you will: Support the coordination and delivery of AFCA’s Innovate‑level RAP, aligned to Reconciliation Australia’s expectations. Maintain RAP documentation, action trackers, evidence records and progress reporting across Relationships, Respect and Opportunities. Support RAP reporting, submissions, presentations and governance updates. Coordinate culturally respectful engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders, Elders and community organisations. Support the Reconciliation Working Group by preparing materials, documenting outcomes and tracking follow‑up actions. Respond to Senior Leadership enquiries with clear, timely RAP updates. Assist with workshops, engagement activities and internal capability‑building initiatives. Contribute to continuous improvement by reviewing materials and improving coordination processes.
