OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management and accounting, with proficiency in various accounting software and working within an international company. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records, managing budgets, and providing strategic insights to support the company’s growth.

SKILLS

  • 7+ years of accounting experience,
  • Understanding of international accounting and working with entities in Canada, US and UK.
  • Experience and understanding of Transfer Pricing Agreements
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of reimbursement and incentive programs i.e SR&ED (Canada)
  • Strong understanding of financial management principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
  • Experience in accounts payable processes is advantageous.
  • A professional qualification in finance or accounting (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is required.
