It delivers asset management, project management, financial management, engineering services, and business management for the CAF30 (F-35A Lightning II Sustainment) Product and Project AIR06000 Phase 2A/B, Phase 2C, and Phase 6. The organisation comprises an integrated workforce of around 100 ADF, APS, and above the line contractor personnel based primarily at RAAF Williamtown, supported by approximately 50 additional personnel, including JPO Cooperative Program Partner members, Reservists, embedded staff, and below the line contractors, located across Australia and the United States. About the Role: The Information Systems Analyst will work under limited direction to perform and deliver moderately complex information systems and Engineering support activities within an integrated workforce. The role supports operational and sustainment outcomes for the F‑35A air system by applying established technical, professional and information systems management practices. You will engage with stakeholders across Defence, industry and partner organisations, building strong working relationships and acting as a central point of contact for operations and ICT‑related enquiries. The position requires the ability to manage schedules, resources, risk and deliverables while contributing to the design, implementation and sustainment of ICT infrastructure supporting mission planning, operational effectiveness and secure communications capabilities. This full-time position is based at Williamtown, near Newcastle. What’s Involved: Deliver moderately complex information systems and engineering support under limited direction within an integrated workforce. Act as a key point of contact for operations and ICT enquiries, building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
