JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Cleaning Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the activities of the cleaning staff. The successful candidate will ensure that all cleaning duties are carried out to the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in commercial or industrial cleaning.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends as required.
• Basic computer literacy is a plus (for scheduling, reports, etc.).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment (e.g., floor scrubbers, vacuums).

• Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning operations across assigned areas.
• Allocate tasks and monitor performance of cleaning staff.
• Ensure all work is completed to company and client standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks.
• Train, support, and motivate cleaning staff.
• Report any maintenance or health & safety issues.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and order as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations (e.g., COSHH).
• Maintain records of cleaning schedules, staff attendance, and incidents.
• Liaise with clients or facility managers to resolve issues or feedback.
