MUST HAVE SKILLS:

• Master’s or PhD in Science, Engineering or Business or related field
• 7-10+ years of relevant industry experience
• Proven track record in building successful innovation strategies, roadmaps, and processes
• Willingness to travel 10-20%, including internationally
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Strong scientific background, with knowledge of biopharmaceutical drug manufacturing processes, including single-use systems, consumables, and services.
• Exceptional analytical skills and business acumen.
• Ability to collaborate and lead within a complex international network of stakeholders (Commercial, R&D, Product Management, etc.).
• Results-driven, with strong communication skills and a proactive mindset.

  Pay Range for this position: $155,800 - $233,800
  Our ranges are derived from several sources, and largely reliant on relevant industry market data. Should we decide to make an offer, we will consider several factors, including but not limited to your location, skills, experience, career level, and other job-related factors. ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking an Innovation Lead for our Single-Use & Integrated Platform Solutions (SUIPS) franchise.
This role is integral to fostering a culture of creativity, developing strategic innovation roadmaps, and driving the adoption of groundbreaking technologies and processes.
You will work at the forefront of biopharmaceutical innovation, ensuring our organization remains competitive in a fast-evolving market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and execute the franchise’s innovation strategy, aligning with broader portfolio goals.
• Identify emerging technologies, market trends, and industry insights to inform innovation opportunities.
• Establish and oversee innovation frameworks and processes that drive creative thinking.
• Manage the innovation pipeline, including SUIPS R&D activities, ensuring project prioritization and successful execution on portfolio level.
• Engage with external ecosystems (startups, research institutions, customers) to source and implement cutting-edge solutions.
• Secure resources and present business cases to stakeholders and leadership.
• Measure and report on innovation performance, ensuring a clear ROI.
