EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • 2+ years of UI/UX design experience, preferably in gaming or edu-tech industry
  • Strong experience with Android-based design and device-specific considerations
  • Proven track record designing interfaces for 2D and 3D environments
  • Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
  • Knowledge of device-specific design best practices
  • Understanding of game development pipelines

PORTFOLIO REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong portfolio showcasing gaming UI/UX projects with detailed case studies
  • Examples of interface designs for both 2D and 3D game environments
  • Demonstrated experience with device-specific UI considering hardware constraints
  • Evidence of user research, testing, and iteration in design work

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

  • Basic understanding of front-end development principles (HTML/CSS a plus)
  • Familiarity with game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine preferred
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) beneficial

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field
  • Experience designing UI/UX for custom devices or hardware platforms
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
  • Experience with analytics tools and A/B testing
  • Passion for gaming and understanding of different game genres

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re seeking a talented UI/UX Designer with gaming or edu-tech industry experience to create intuitive, engaging user interfaces for Android-based custom devices. You’ll design interfaces for both 2D and 3D environments that enhance immersion and drive engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design user interfaces for games/experiences on Android-based custom devices
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for menus, HUDs, and interactive elements in 2D and 3D environments
  • Develop user flows and information architecture that enhance player experience
  • Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on player feedback
  • Collaborate with developers throughout the development cycle
