This position can be home based.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Six (6) Months – Two (2) Yearsadministrative or coordination experience.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Comprehensive Microsoft Office suite skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and interact with all levels of American Heart Association staff, volunteers and the public.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with keen attention to detail.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Some college or bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities:

The Project Coordinator position will provide support for the activities of a department on the Quality, Outcomes Research & Analytics team. In this role they will be involved in the day-to-day implementation of projects working closely with program managers. This includes regular communication between team members and stakeholders, completing specific project-related tasks, coordinating project schedules and information, and prioritizing and maintaining project documents.

This position will also provide high level administrative support to the members of the department’s Senior Management team. This includes providing administrative support (e.g. calendaring, expense management, meeting coordination), managing various databases, performing research in completing assigned projects, maintaining/ updating information and producing a variety of routine and special reports as needed and preparing correspondence, presentations, and reports to support diverse initiatives.

  • Presenting project needs and activities, as identified by the program managers, between team members, managers, and other partners.
  • Provides executive administrative support to assigned executive staff including calendaring, correspondence, reports, meeting preparation, travel coordination, expense management and project coordination and implementation in support of their respective teams.
  • Provide implementation and organizational support by coordinating schedules for project activities with Association staff and external partners, crafting and submitting documentation for internal project resources, updating and maintaining project documents, reports and tracking spreadsheets.
  • Coordinates logistics for assigned meetings and provides day-of-event support as needed.
  • Provide ongoing support across the QORA team for any special projects and activities identified by team leadership.
