WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer with a strong focus on sustainability to lead our efforts in optimizing recycling processes. This role involves driving sustainability initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, innovating solutions, and conducting market and literature research on sustainable technologies. Join us in shaping a more sustainable future through innovative recycling practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related fields; Ph.D. is a plus but not required.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in sustainable recycling processes, with a demonstrated commitment to environmental stewardship.
  • Strong understanding of sustainability principles, circular economy concepts, and environmental regulations.
  • Proven track record of leading sustainability initiatives and driving environmental improvements in recycling operations.
  • Experience with process optimization, waste reduction strategies, and sustainable materials management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate sustainable solutions to complex environmental challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices in sustainable recycling
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments, demonstrating adaptability and efficiency in meeting project deadlines and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee sustainable recycling processes to achieve zero waste and maximize resource utilization.
  • Develop and implement process optimization strategies to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase recycling rates.
  • Conduct mass and energy balance calculations to ensure optimal process performance and resource efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to accurately represent system configurations and operating parameters.
  • Design closed-loop recycling systems for full byproduct re-use and minimal environmental impact.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to innovate and implement cutting-edge recycling technologies enhancing sustainability performance.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to production teams, guiding them in adopting sustainable practices and implementing eco-friendly solutions.
  • Lead environmental impact assessments and ensure regulatory compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct market and literature research on existing sustainable technologies for improvement and innovation.
  • Mentor and train junior engineers to foster a culture of sustainability and environmental stewardship.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in sustainable recycling processes and integrate knowledge into operations.
