Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Grind, sand, or polish, using hand tools or hand-held power tools, a variety of metal, wood, stone, clay, plastic, or glass objects. Includes chippers, buffers, and finishers.
REQUIREMENTS AND PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- High School degree or GED is required.
- At least one-year working experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- A working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies is preferred.
- Willingness to learn bead blasting, part straitening, and a variety of new tasks and equipment.
- Material handling using pallet jack or appropriate equipment.
- Operate band saws.
