2 X Cloud Engineer

Lime Recruitment is currently working with a Queensland government department to recruit 2 X Cloud Engineer contracts for 6 months with possible based at Fortitude Valley and working from home.

EXPERIENCE AND ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• 2-3 years hands on experience delivering cloud infrastructure solutions and supporting Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Knowledge and experience deploying cloud infrastructure resources in Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services. Experience in using Bicep, ARM and Cloud Formation.
• Knowledge and experience supporting and managing cloud networking (VNET, VPC, Express Route, Direct connect, VPN & etc)
• Good knowledge of scripting and automation is a must (Power Shell, python, C# etc.)
• Previous experience in using Azure DevOps for deploying cloud infrastructure in Azure and AWS.
• Cloud Identity knowledge & experience (Azure AD, AWS IAM, federated authentication)
• Knowledge of cloud monitoring and related tools
• Knowledge and experience in cloud security
• Ability to work under pressure and deal with multiple competing priorities
• Ability to learn new technologies and acquire skills rapidly
• Excellent communication skills and experience interacting with stakeholders, vendors and customers.
• Background in infrastructure management, windows OS, DNS, DHCP

• Azure SQL, Azure SQL managed instances, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure App Services, Azure functions, Azure load balancer, Azure backup, Azure data factory, Azure blob storage, Azure log analytics, Azure app insights, Azure VMs, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Open AI, Azure Kubernetes.
• Amazon s3, RDS, EC2, Lambda, API gateway, ELB, AWS storage gateway, SQS, SNS, AWS Connect, AWS IAM Identity Centre, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, cloud formation
• Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, dataverse. Microsoft Entra ID.

The Cloud Engineer will be involved in delivering cloud infrastructure solutions within a complex, enterprise health care environment.
We are looking for a team player who is customer orientated and able to quickly understand and adhere to organisational policy, procedures and security requirements for implementing and supporting could solutions.
Ideal candidate would have previous experience in deploying complex cloud solutions across multiple projects, managing competing priorities while fulfilling stakeholder expectations by meeting delivery deadlines. Candidate would also have a proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving, with the ability to take directions and to also work independently.
