JOB TITLE: Director, Finance and Business Intelligence
STATUS: Permanent, Full Time
LOCATION: Remote in Ontario, Canada
Candidates are required to reside in the province of Ontario or National Capital Region, maintain a private and safe workspace, and have a high-quality internet connection.
HOURS OF WORK: 35 hours/week (regular office hours)

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the CFO and Vice President, Corporate Services, this position is responsible for the strategic planning, leadership and oversight of the Finance, Accounting and Business Intelligence functions. The Director, Finance and Business Intelligence will work as a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Executive Team (ET) to support the achievement of the WSPS strategic plan. As future focused leader, this role plays an integral part in formulating best practices and process improvements while leveraging technology and tools for financial planning, accounting services, project management, financial and business reporting.

PREFERRED

• 10+ years progressive management experience in a not-for-profit environment
• Experience leading positive change and seeking out continuous improvement.
• Understanding Transfer Payment Agreement model and requirements
• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
