WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are searching for enthusiastic, pro-active and motivated graduate engineers to join the Wilmar Engineering team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to get your first professional role and to start your career in engineering. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience across a variety of engineering roles such as asset reliability, project management, capital planning and systems design just to name a few.
Responsibilities:
The Graduate Engineer is responsible for supporting the Operations and Engineering teams by continually developing the skills and knowledge required to perform successfully in a nominated engineering discipline. As part of your role you will;
- Be provided a career development framework that has a flexible structure for you to develop the knowledge, skills and experience required to create a solid foundation
- Be given genuine hands-on experience acquired through your exposure within the business to allow you to convert your past learning into knowledge
- Support the operations and engineering teams to achieve the goals documented in their business plans
- Work closely with senior engineers to develop professional skills and knowledge
- Develop knowledge of compliance requirements for relevant business codes of conduct, statutory acts and regulations
- Identify and implement improvement initiatives which positively impact cost, rate, reliability and recovery at our Mills and Distillery
