Description:
Seeking a 2nd Engineer (2/E) for a Bulkcarrier vessel worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Chief Engineer in overseeing the operation and maintenance of all machinery on board
- Supervise engine room personnel and ensure safe and efficient operation of the vessel
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of machinery and equipment
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
Requirements:
- STCW III/2 license
- Previous experience as 2nd Engineer on Bulkcarriers
- Strong technical knowledge of vessel machinery and systems
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
