Description:
Seeking a 2nd Engineer (2/E) for a Bulkcarrier vessel operated by OSM Thome. The position is based worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Engineer in overseeing the operation and maintenance of all machinery onboard.
- Ensure all engine room equipment is in good working condition.
- Supervise the engine room crew and delegate tasks accordingly.
- Implement and maintain safety procedures and practices.
Requirements:
- STCW III/2 license.
- Previous experience as a 2nd Engineer on Bulkcarriers.
- Strong technical knowledge of marine engineering systems.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
