Description:
Seeking a 2nd Engineer (2/E) for a Bulkcarrier vessel with OSM Thome. The position is based worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Engineer in overseeing the operation and maintenance of all machinery and equipment on board.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Supervise engine room personnel and delegate tasks accordingly.
- Carry out maintenance and repairs as needed.
Requirements:
- Valid STCW certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a 2nd Engineer on Bulkcarriers.
- Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and leadership abilities.
