Description:
Seeking a 2nd Engineer (2/E) for a tanker product vessel with OSM Thome. The position is based worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Engineer in overseeing the operation and maintenance of all machinery and equipment on board
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Supervise engine room personnel and delegate tasks as necessary
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal performance of machinery
Requirements:
- STCW III/2 Second Engineer License
- Previous experience as a 2nd Engineer on tanker vessels
- Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and leadership abilities
