3D & 4D Modeller & Planning Engineer

INTRODUCTION

Are you a Planning Engineer with experience of 3D (& some 4D) Modelling within the Construction Sector?
My client is looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience to join their growing consultancy business. At first your role will require only a little bit of client interaction but over time and with training you will learn to lead and look after the client relationships.
Your role will be to provide 3D construction and logistics sequences for projects across the UK. The ideal candidate will need to have a track record of working in the construction sector either with main contractor, subcontractor or design consultant.
My client works on many projects that has the main focus of creating designs for sustainable buildings, so having 4D BIM modelling experience is highly desirable.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Working within the construction Industry.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as planning engineer.
• Knowledge of construction methodologies and processes.
• Proven 3D modelling experience.
• Good working knowledge of software such as – Sketchup, 3dsMax, Revit, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, PowerPoint etc.
• Construction related portfolio of previous work to review as part of interview process.
• Synchro Pro 4D experience advantageous.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce construction programmes in Asta PowerProjects – P6 Primavera.
• Produce detailed 3D models from 2D design information where required.
• Produce 3D construction and logistics sequence including plant, access equipment, site set up etc.
• Produce visual images/videos for presentations and tender material.
• Work collaboratively with wider project teams to ensure quality product produced.
