Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
The 3PL Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for ensuring Inventory Controls are properly communicated and adhered to by assigned third-party and satellite locations. In-scope controls include but are not limited to:
- All inventory requiring cycle counts receive an indicator.
- Cycle count frequencies are performed in accordance with designated indicators.
- Discrepancy investigations and escalations are executed appropriately.
- Stock corrections are analyzed to separate transactions that represent inventory inaccuracy and those that do not.
- Cycle count observations and independent counts are performed according to guidelines.
- Preparation and execution of annual full-physical inventory counts, when required.
The 3PL Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for a variety of reoccurring and ad-hoc reports related to Inventory Controls. Below are areas of interest which the Analyst will be responsible either directly or in a support capacity.
- Work with site leaders to maintain the accuracy of information being reported.
- Identify insufficiencies in reporting and propose solutions.
- Maintaining current reporting of 3PL and satellite location Inventory Control status to team repository.
- Leading or assisting in internal and external audit request fulfillment.
The 3PL Inventory Control Analyst will also be responsible as the front-line support for Inventory Operations whether it be directly performing, coordinating, or overseeing day-to-day inventory actions.
- Act as SAP inventory processes subject matter expert.
- Coordinate off-cycle inventory adjustments, as needed.
- Work with site and 3PL leaders to ensure Delivery Holds (DH) are appropriately executed.
- Approval and follow-through of Inventory Control aspects (ex. scrap, send for rework) of European Business Integration Decisions and Activities (BIDAs).
- Oversee scrap activities and work with local teams to execute when appropriate.

While all applicants may receive some consideration and the hiring process for this role may be flexible in circumstances leading to the best qualifications, the below guidelines of what is desired should be considered by the applicant and at least a few should apply:
- A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Mathematics, Operational Excellence, or related fields.
- Five or more years of experience in Inventory Control or other Supply Chain discipline.
- Three or more years of transactional experience using SAP.
- Advanced or master level Microsoft Excel skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and communicative skills with aptitude in self-regulation in achieving team goals.
- A curious mind demonstrated by strong critical thinking and investigative skills.
- Fluency in English. Dutch and German speaking a plus.
- Ability to lift as much as 11 kilograms. Candidate should be capable, despite how uncommon this should be.
- Ability to travel locally and internationally up to 25%, typically only required before each quarter ends
