Description:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years technical support experience
  • CCNA / CCNP / CompTIA Network+
  • Virtualisation VMWare/Hyper-V
  • Azure installation experience
  • Watchguard / UTM experience
  • Windows OS/Server
  • Microsoft Exchange
  • Microsoft 365
  • ITIL Framework Experience preferred
  • Experience in working with ITSM ticket systems
  • Understanding of priorities and SLAs
  • RMM / PSA experience required
  • Clean, UK driving license

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

It would also be advantageous if you have some existing qualifications such as CompTIA, MTA, MCP, MSCE, CCNA, etc

Responsibilities:

  • Providing 2nd/3rd line IT Support to our customers
  • Monitoring Customer’s Infrastructure via RMM solution
  • Following escalation procedures to ensure Service Level Agreements are met
  • Managing customer issues through to closure
  • Identifying recurring outages and trends
  • Providing ongoing documentation and improvement of processes
  • Assisting other engineers with problem resolution and training needs
  • Leading customer IT projects
  • Providing strategic IT advice
  • Assisting with sales and support quotes
  • Supporting and developing internal IT systems
  • Supplier liaison
