POSITION SUMMARY
- Facilitating, and implementing outreach activities, special events, programs, health and wellness initiatives and presentations which support member education specific to pregnancy and early childhood care.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with community partners. Maintains marketing guideline compliance with the appropriate state’s laws and regulation.
- Coordinates with Aetna marketing team to develop strategies to maximize brand familiarity (i.e., Social media, print, benefit brochures, bus stop ads, radio, signage, etc.)
- Seeks out and secures event sponsorships in alignment with overall clinical program strategy.
- Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with community partners including maternity focused organizations, high volume OB/GYN providers, and other appropriate community organizations that serve maternity clinical program goals.
- Responsible for event logistics including reserving space, catering, communication, distributing materials, facilities support, and other events.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to work independently and travel alone.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to present information to various audiences.
- 3-5 years’ experience working with the Medicaid and/or CHIP population required.
- Doula/maternity experience required. May include experience working with maternity providers or maternity community based organizations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology required.
- Proficiency with standard corporate software applications, including MS office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) as well as some special proprietary applications.
- Must be well organized with a keen eye for detail and design.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and off-shifts as required.
EDUCATION
- Certified Doula
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, Social work or human services degree preferred.
