Description:
Techmation Electric & Controls is looking for an experienced Gas Plant Operator with a 4th Class Power Engineering certificate for our Fort St John branch. Individuals must be knowledgeable about current OH&S legislation, and conversant with the industry standards and practices of today’s safety-focused Oil & Gas sector.
Due to the local nature of the work, applicants must be local to the Fort St John area to be considered. Shift schedule may vary, but the position allows for one to be home every night.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4th Class Power Engineering certificate
- Must have a minimum of 3 years gas plant operating experience is
- Plant consists of Amine, dehy, compression, sulphur extraction
- Must have current Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive and CSO certificates
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work within a team environment are required
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to work alone and complete routine tasks
