Magen David Yeshivah is looking for 4th Grade Rabbi (Lead Teacher) at our Brooklyn school. The school year is consistent with the Jewish calendar and closed during summer.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Classroom experience
- College degree or Smiha (Rabbinic ordination)
- Fluency in Hebrew

Responsibilities:
- Work together with the 4th grade team to follow the outlined curriculum
- Communicate with parents and school counselors on student progress.
- Educate and support students to help them accomplish learning benchmarks.
- Plan lessons that target specific skills and concepts.
- Cultivate core Jewish values such as kindness, respect, compassion and integrity within students.
- Participates in various student and parent activities which occur in school including PTA and student clubs.
