YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completed a university degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Several years of hands-on experience in the development or verification of mobile communication systems.
  • Strong comprehension of 5G/4G 3GPP protocols.
  • Demonstrated expertise in analyzing 5G/4G protocol issues, specifically in AS L1/L2/L3 and NAS.
  • Hands-on experience in automating tests for mobile radio systems.
  • Proficient programming skills in Python.
  • Outgoing and has good communication skills.
  • Good English skills both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities:

  • Integration and verification of new features within the scope of 3GPP 5G Release 17 and upcoming releases for the network simulator CMX500, such as NR-NTN or RedCap.
  • Implementation of test cases for automated execution of 3GPP 4G/5G functionalities using R&S CMX/CMW500.
  • Monitoring the execution of test cases and analyzing regression results. Close collaboration with international development teams for issue tracking and resolution.
  • Maintenance of multiple test lines, including the UE automation.
  • Continuous involvement in process improvements in a modern Continuous Delivery environment.
  • Active participation in the project’s work, including spec analysis, time estimates, as well as documentation.
  • Participation in our KIT innovation program (Knowledge, Innovation and Technology) with up to 5% of your time, to ensure your and company’s competencies within new technologies, methods and tools, as well as effective sharing of knowledge.
  • Travel activity to a limited extent.
