JR51099 6S/ESD Control Engineer
JOB DESCRIPTION
As 6S/ESD Engineer, he/she is required to work with other functional groups responsible in developing and sustaining the cleanroom and 6S standards/protocols, compliance as well drive for continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Engineering or any equivalent example mechanical/electrical engineering
- Preferrable 2-3 year’ experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing environment and quality-relevant functions.
- Effective communication skills in written and spoken English; able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia
- Demonstrate ability to use computer-based programs and applications to perform daily job duties
- Good multitasking, problem solving/troubleshooting and organizational skills
- Positive/growth mindset in managing challenge or opportunities
Responsibilities:
Site Governance of 6S control
- Responsible as site representative in discussion and alignment on Assembly & Test 6S standard, requirement, and protocol.
- Develop and review all the applicable guidelines together with global 6S team and ensure MMY site follow accordingly.
- Regular audit which covers general 6S items and process items (SOP).
- Record audit finding in audit tool and provide timely feedback to relevant department leaders.
- To liaise with network for any best-practice sharing or continual improvement.
Site governance of ESD control
- Responsible as site representative in discussion and alignment on Assembly & Test ESD standard, requirement, and protocol.
- Manage and monitor ESD Compliance Verification compliance with relevant procedures and standards.
- Drive CIP together with the facility, engineering, manufacturing and other stakeholders.
- Responsible in ESD and 6S vendors interaction and hosting
- To provide guidance to committee team for ESD & 6S regular activities and buyoff/qual new item.
- Manage Cleanroom/ESD attire laundry and monitor vendor’s performance
Contribute to a Quality first and safe work environment
- Follow and comply to defined procedure to ensure full compliance at work
- Follow and comply to safety procedures and area work rules (including use of proper PPE and chemical safety)
- Be sensitive to any abnormality; feedback to on any suspicious or abnormality
- Identify area of improvement, make suggestions to increase quality and efficiency of processes as well to prevent any non-compliance/non-conformance products
Forster teamwork and self-discipline to improve work efficiency
- Demonstrate sense of urgency to support and complete allocated task
- Be discipline and adhere to HR policy. Always communicate with supervisor for any planned or unplanned attendance.
