Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Manufacturing Site Compliance Leader (Level M) to support the 787 Team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.
As a Manufacturing Compliance Senior Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and driving a culture of compliance within our manufacturing operations. You will lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership to develop and implement compliance programs, policies, and procedures. Your expertise in regulatory frameworks, quality management systems, and risk management will be crucial in identifying and mitigating compliance risks. Additionally, you will play a key role in conducting compliance audits, developing corrective action plans, and driving continuous improvement in compliance performance.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement compliance programs, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including FAA regulations, ITAR, EAR, and other applicable industry standards
  • Lead a team of compliance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive a culture of compliance throughout the organization
  • Conduct compliance audits, identify gaps, and develop and implement corrective action plans to address non-compliance issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior management, regulatory agencies, executive leadership and external stakeholders to ensure compliance requirements are met
  • Monitor compliance performance through the development and implementation of metrics and KPIs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements and industry best practices, and proactively communicate and train employees on compliance matters
  • Handle compliance-related investigations, incidents, and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate documentation
  • Foster a strong ethical culture and promote integrity in all aspects of work through a demonstrated commitment
  • Use strong leadership abilities to effectively manage a team and drive a culture of compliance

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 3+ years of senior leadership experience in manufacturing operations, quality management, or compliance roles, preferably in the aerospace industry with knowledge of regulatory frameworks, such as FAA regulations, ITAR, EAR, and quality management systems (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001)
  • 3+ years of experience using excellent communication through reporting and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, program leadership, regulatory agencies, and external stakeholders
  • 5+ years of experience using data analysis and problem-solving to identify risks and develop innovative solutions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Experience in developing and implementing compliance programs, policies, and procedures
  • Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams
