Description:
Exciting opportunity for a seasoned Human Resources Advisor to join their team. You will be providing crucial support to the Manager of Human Resources. This role requires a blend of practical advice and guidance on a broad range of contemporary human resource management issues, complaint management, and report production.
Competitive salary: $61-62/hr + Super + Access to RW Contractor Benefits
Based southern suburbs of Brisbane
Responsibilities:
- Provide practical advice and guidance to internal clients on a broad range of contemporary human resource management issues through the interpretation of legislation, industrial instruments and/or policies.
- Support the Principal HR Officer by providing advice to staff and supervisors regarding complaint management including employee grievances, employee conduct and performance and positive performance principles.
- Produce a variety of reports from departmental systems and provide to business areas to assist in decision making including providing recommendations for best practice HR management.
- Provide advice to leaders regarding human resource issues and provide advice and guidance that balances employee and organisational interests.
- Prepare correspondence (including but not limited to letters, reports, submissions, guidelines, briefs) on a range of HR issues for internal and external stakeholders.
What you bring:
- Extensive Human resources experience in a large multidisciplinary environment.
- Knowledge of and the ability to interpret relevant industrial Acts, Awards, and frameworks.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to consult with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Well-developed Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word skills.
- Human resources experience within the public sector, preferably within Queensland Government.
- Experience in workforce data analytics including PowerBi.
