As the A220 Program Manager you can change things for the better. To do this, we need a kind and compassionate soul who wants to help. A220 processes are partially subject to immaturity, leading to manual processes - and we would love to get your help in harnessing cross functional initiatives to craft new satisfying support levels which our customers love. Your fixer mentality will define the next generation of material ordering flow.
We are a team of 9 people, based in Copenhagen, Hamburg and Washington DC, working on multiple crossover projects, following our ambitious strategy. With the different personalities in our team, we are set to take up any challenge - from detailed to high level strategy. And with our growing ambition, our workload grows. In terms of skills and experience , we are looking for someone that
- Can handle a wide variety of assignments, particularly in the transition and improvement phase
- Has an advanced level analytic skills and is using this to see the big picture and can think across the ordinary. The perfect someone is creative, high level, but can also be precise and hands-on at its implementation
- Has a consultant mindset and can identify process gaps and to propose work-arounds
- Is equipped with excellent commercial skills and business acumen (3 to 5 years of commercial business experience) together with an understanding and sensitiveness towards financial projection and the fulfillment of financial targets is a requirement.
- Possesses the courage to negotiate, present, influence, or change, as the role requires profound stakeholder management
- Preferably has a strong understanding of the aviation aftermarket supply chain or similar industrial industries (3 to 5 years of experience)
- Brings in as a plus experience in agile ways of workin
Responsibilities:
- Identify A220 related process gaps vs. legacy programs, assess different way of working requiring special processes or roles and launch VSM workshops
- Lead cross functional projects / work packages to mature the A220 Spares Business. These projects require drive and leadership to work with the whole organization
- Own your projects / work packages by having a grip on the defined and related KPIs
- Provide visibility on the roadmap and improvements that can be expected regarding your projects / work packages and the overall program to stakeholders
- Ensure profit and net margin accountability for process, products, policy related topics, costs along the defined path and for the overall program
- Help to adapt the Satair A220 setup to the development/footprint of the fleet, establish relevant business cases and projects to prepare the future
- Work closely with Sales Directors, Support Directors and customers to build confidence of customers in Airbus commitment to support the A220 Program

If your educational background is in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or Aerospace or an equivalent combination of education and experience - and you have Master’s degree - you would be the perfect fit.
Preferably, we are looking for someone with up to 3 to 5 years of experience in program management, project management, or product management in sales/customer service (preferably in the aviation industry).
The team travels at least twice a year. The general rule is a travel requirement of 30% , both domestic and intercontinental travel. Some travel might be on short notice. This can be aligned as needed. Able to travel sometimes on short notice.
