Description:
The departments of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at Glan Clwyd Hospital are seeking to recruit academic clinical fellows in Intensive Care to start in August 2024, for an initial period of one year. In addition to clinical training, the fellowship will provide dedicated time (minimum of one day per week) for research or medical education.
On call work will involve covering either the 3 rd on call (ICU doctor with full airway training) or 4 th on call (ICU doctor with basic airway training). Both of these rotas provide 24/7 cover. Consultant cover for the ICU consists of 2 consultants present 0800-2000 7 days a week and 1 consultant overnight who remains resident if needed.
